Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of daken ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope

These Terms apply to all relationships between users and the operator of the Service regarding the Service.

2. Use

The Service is a web application for practicing custom keymaps for split keyboards. You may use the Service freely as long as you comply with these Terms.

3. Prohibited Conduct

• Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
• Acts that may interfere with the operation of the Service
• Reverse engineering, analyzing, or modifying the Service (except when published as OSS)
• Misuse of information obtained through the Service
• Other acts that the operator deems inappropriate

4. Handling of Data

The Service stores uploaded keymap files and layout information in the user's browser LocalStorage. No data is transmitted to the server. The operator cannot access or view the contents of such data.

5. Disclaimer

The operator makes no warranties as to the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the Service. You use the Service at your own risk. The operator is not liable for any damages (including data loss or device failure) arising from use of the Service.

6. Changes to the Terms

The operator may revise these Terms at any time without prior notice. The revised Terms take effect when posted on the Service.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the operator's location.
